Cotabato City – The Bangsamoro Women Commission (BWC-BARMM) culminated the month long-celebration of National Women’s Month with a dialogue between the BARMM ministries and offices, community women and civil society organizations with the title Forum on Programs and Opportunities for Community Women in the Bangsamoro.
The need to advocate a change in mind set and better appreciation of the significance of implementing the GAD plans and budgets of the BARMM ministries and offices was anchored on the theme “We make CHANGE work for the Bangsamoro Women”,
The culmination program likewise befitted to pay tribute to all the empowered women who left an indelible mark in their own respective fields. This was a great opportunity to remember their contributions to the legacy of courageous and inspiring individuals who will forever be written in the history of the Bangsamoro people.
The activity was participated by community-women leaders, GFPS representatives from identified ministries, offices and agencies and women-led CSOs held on 31 March 2022, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at Robinsons Hall 4, 3rd Floor, Al-Nor Commercial Complex, Cotabato City.
BWC headed by its chairperson MP Bainon Karon collated all the GPBs presented and elucidated the synthesized GAD Program Matrix by the end of the activity.
