The Bangsamoro Women Commission, the women machinery in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM)for the promotion of the Gender Equity together with the Office of MP Bainon G. Karon  conducted a Gender Responsive Planning and Budgeting last August 4-5, 2020 at the Grand Pagana Hall, in Cotabato City.  A two-day workshop on gender responsive planning and budgeting incorporating gender perspective, gender lens and gender responsive supported by the Bangsamoro Transition Authority encompasses members and staff of the Member of the Parliament shared information and brainstorm ideas for the 2021 GPB PPAs.

The BWC provides Technical Assistance in advocacy work for the Bangsamoro Transition Authority for budgeting to implement the CEDAW which translated into Magna Carta for Women, the Joint Memorandum Circular issued by the Philippine Commission on Women, NEDA and DBM.
