Cotabato City – The BWC convened the members of the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) from various BARMM Ministries, Offices, and Agencies (MOAs) on February 12, 2024, to enlighten and orient its members on their functions. The event was a significant step towards enhancing the understanding and fulfillment of the roles and responsibilities of GFPS members.
The orientation served as an avenue for members to gain a deeper insight into their roles within the organization. The session focused on the importance of each member’s contribution to the overall functioning of the GFPS. It emphasized the value of teamwork, commitment, and dedication in achieving the organization’s goals. One of the highlights of the event was the introduction of the GFPS Functionality Assessment Tool. This tool is designed to evaluate the functionality of the GFPS in various organizations, ensuring that the system is working effectively and efficiently. The assessment tool, with its comprehensive and user-friendly design, was received with enthusiasm by the members.
