In partnership with Suporta sa Bangsamoro Transition (SUBATRA), the BWC staff conducted a comprehensive workshop focused on developing nine (9) teaching modules for Gender and Development (GAD), facilitated by SUBATRA’s Key Expert on Governance Ms. Rufa C. Guiam together with Mr. Ben Errol D. Aspera.The activity was held from October 1-3, 2024, at the Avior Hotel in General Santos City.

This three-day intensive workshop addressed crucial aspects of module creation, equipping the Technical Staff of the Commission with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote gender equality and empowering individuals to contribute to a more equitable society/BARMM.

Also present during the workshop was BWC Chairperson Bainon G. Karon, who provided support to the staff and monitored and offered insights on key details that needed to be included.
