Davao City – The Bangsamoro Women Commission (BWC) convened its Management Committee on January 13, 2025, to discuss several key administrative and operational matters. The committee reviewed the attendance and participation of representatives from the island provinces at the BWC’s regional office, exploring ways to improve engagement and ensure consistent representation from all areas. The status of office uniforms for staff was also discussed, with the committee ensuring that the concerns regarding the uniform were addressed.

Additionally, a proposal from the provincial offices to provide more flexibility in day-to-day operations involving the Admin and Finance Division was also discussed. Other topics included the reorganization of office assignments, updates from the budget section on traveling expenses, and the allocation of new materials and equipment for staff. The committee also agreed to initiate the hiring process for additional job order personnel in each province to bolster the commission’s capacity and reach at the local level.
