Davao City – The Bangsamoro Women Commission (BWC) held a two-day Program Review and Evaluation Workshop (PREW) to assess the progress and impact of its initiatives in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
“This workshop is crucial for elevating the capabilities of our team and for uniting our efforts toward achieving the Commission’s goals” – says BWC Executive Director Faujiah Abdullah during her opening remarks
The workshop began with a discussion on the importance of performance review and its underlying principles. Chief GAD Specialist Bailyn A. Mastura-Sandayan provided an overview of the Commission’s programs implemented in Fiscal Year 2024, highlighting the key accomplishments and milestones achieved.
A series of presentations and activities followed including a detailed presentation on the commission’s budget utilization for the same period, ensuring transparency and accountability in the use of resources, guidelines on how to accomplish the Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR), Division Performance Commitment and Review (DPCR), and Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR) forms.
The PREW provided a valuable opportunity for the BWC to reflect on its achievements, identify areas for improvement, and chart a course for the future, ensuring that its initiatives continue to address the needs and empower the women of Bangsamoro.
