Davao City – The Commission has taken a proactive step in planning for the implementation of its programs and activities for the year 2025. The activity was conducted following the comprehensive Program Review and Evaluation Workshop (PREW) and strategic planning session to review and update its Strategic Plan.
During the session, a workshop on how to build a Work and Financial Plan (WFP) using the S.M.A.R.T. framework was initiated. This provided the BWC staff with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively plan and budget for their initiatives in the current year.
In a subsequent break-out session, the BWC staff worked together to prepare their WFP for the fiscal year 2025. The BWC Chief of Staff, Rahima Silongan, led the team in plotting out the 2025 Calendar of Activities, ensuring that the commission’s priorities and goals are aligned with the overall vision and mandate of the BARMM government.
“Throughout these activities, I have been impressed by the level of engagement as I mentioned during the PREW activity, the quality of the discussions, and the collaborative spirit that has gone through our interactions. Your dedication, expertise, and commitment to the success of our Commission have been truly inspiring”, BWC Chairperson said as she delivered her closing remark to conclude the activity.
