General Santos City – The completion of the BWC Policy Research Volume 2 was a crucial step in the process of integrating it into the BARMM GAD Code. After a series of extensive research and consultations with legal and policy experts, the seven (7) drafted policies and recommendations were carefully analyzed and refined. The output of the activity will be presented to the Bangsamoro Attorney General’s Office (BAGO) for review before its formal submission to the Parliament for approval and integration into the BARMM GAD Code.
Policy Research and Legal Services (PRLS) experts, headed by Dr. Nassef M. Adiong, played a pivotal role in ensuring the completion and quality of the drafted Policy Research papers. Their expertise in policy analysis, which was supplemented by the legal knowledge and insights of the lawyers from the offices of MP Atty. Diamila D. Ramos and MP Atty. Sha Elijah Dumama-Alba, greatly contributed to the comprehensive and well-rounded nature of the research papers.
The activity was part of the larger goal of enhancing gender and development policies in the BARMM region funded by the U.K. Government through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
