Davao City – A significant number of the BWC’s select employees are now one step ahead in their supervisory skills and leadership abilities after completing the 5-day Supervisory Development Course Track 2 conducted by the Civil Service Commission Region XI on September 18-22, 2023 at Go Hotels in Davao City.
The course provided a comprehensive overview of the essential supervisory principles, techniques, and best practices. Participants gained knowledge of effective communication and conflict resolution strategies, performance management, team building, and decision-making. Communication skills were honed through interactive exercises and role-playing scenarios, allowing participants to practice effective communication techniques in a supportive environment. Furthermore, the course emphasized the importance of ethical behavior in a supervisory role and provided guidance on handling dilemmas.
BWC employees took advantage of this valuable opportunity to enhance their leadership competencies and gain a deeper understanding of their roles as supervisors. Toward the completion of the course, all of the attendees were able to successfully apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired as they enthusiastically showcased the integration of their learnings in real-life scenarios within the workplace.
